Housing and shelter
Deep Jan Kalyan Samiti undertake various activities like advocacy, campaign for shelter and safe housing for the poor, resettlement and rehabilitation (R&R), construction of safe and low-cost housing, implementation of shelter for urban homeless (SUH) under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NULM), etc.
The activities undertaken by Deep Jan Kalyan Samiti contribute towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal- SDG 1- No poverty- End poverty in all its forms everywhere and SDG 11- Sustainable cities and communities- Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
